Accessorising Your Wrists

Accessorising your wrists…. Trust me – it’s a thing! I definitely go through phases of having nothing on at all, and other times (mostly summer) where I go to town on the bangles, cuffs, bracelets etc. As summer is coming I thought I’d do a little round up of some of my favourite accessories and brands to get you inspired.

Metallic Tattoos

This is such a fun, cheap way to finish off your holiday look and I’m hooked. Ever since Beyonce rocked them I’ve been a total convert (I know – I’m such a follower!). They sell packs of the temporary tattoos in New Look and H&M, but I like to get mine on eBay as they’re way cheaper. There are tons of sellers so there’ll definitely be some you love and they cover everything from tribal arm strips, to diamonds and elephants for your wrists or feet. In my opinion definitely more fun than a real tattoo, and of course far less painful. They’re also really fun for girls nights out or hen do’s – get creative! Not to mention the endless Instagram potential…

Watches

As a practical accessory, there are many different types of watch styles to choose from. I’m still a fan of old-fashioned, traditional watches like the ones here. Unisex watches in particular are a great addition to your wardrobe, like this understated monochrome one from Omega. Timeless, classic, and matches every outfit effortlessly – one day you will be mine!

Bracelets

If you saw my blog post featuring the Castellano ethically handmade bag a few weeks ago you may have already gone to check out their website…. but if not then you’re missing out on some gorgeous wrist candy! Their embroidered Swarovski bracelets are soooo pretty, and blend tribal with modern just beautifully.

Bling

It wouldn’t be a ‘princess’ blog without some bling thrown in. I am absolutely in love with the city hippy trend of mismatched stacked bracelets like this…

But on a day to day basis I always wear my Monica Vinader birthstone bracelet that one of my ex-employers gave me on my last day – so kind! It’s really simple and elegant and doesn’t get in the way of anything so is perfect for day-to-day.395541-gp-bl-slcb-moo

Health Bands

I don’t actually own any of the health accessories (FitBit etc) but everyone I know who has one absolutely loves it! If you’ve got one comment below with what it is and whether you’d recommend it! I might be tempted to ask for one for my birthday…

So, that’s it for my wrist accessories post – I’d love to hear in the comments below which accessories you never leave the house without! Thanks again for reading xoxo
