Everyday is a Festival – OOTD

brantano_summer_heels_pauper_to_princess_9Hello again! Today I wanted to share with you guys a little festival themed outfit. I’m not going to any festivals this year (got a bit too used to hotels and hairdryers these days!) but didn’t want to let that hold me back from rocking headbands and chiffon. So, here goes…

brantano_summer_heels_pauper_to_princess_7This dress is from Topshop, but I nabbed it off eBay for a fraction of the price! I’ve been trying to buy clothes that are suitable for Thailand when we head back out this Winter, and this will be ideal. It’s floaty and comfy, and super easy just to throw on. It’ll also work for day or night which is an essential requirement when we have such limited luggage!

brantano_summer_heels_pauper_to_princess_6The bag is actually a little Estee Lauder makeup bag that I picked up in a charity shop (of course!). I love it as it’s got the plastic-see-through trend going on, and the colours are just gorgeous. I often use it as a clutch and it always gets lots of compliments – would be wasted as a wash bag really. My headband is a metal string of daisies that I got in Primark – think it really adds a feminine and fun edge to the look. Especially with my boho style crimped hair. (p.s. I am friggin in love with crimping right now! You can find the tongs in loads of charity shop, it takes two seconds, is really in fashion, and lasts for two days! All round winner)

brantano_summer_heels_pauper_to_princess_5My shoes are a gift from Brantano and I’m IN LOVE with them! When they asked what I wanted I said I’ve been looking forever for my summer staple – comfy, stylish, and go with literally everything. In winter I’m always in black ankle boots as a go-to that I can pair with any outfit and walk around in all day without thinking twice. But for summer I find flats a bit dull (and often fairly uncomfortable) and summer wedges way to high. I knew Brantano would be perfect for this as their whole collection is designed with comfort in mind. This pair certainly hasn’t disappointed – they’re super comfy as they’ve got quite a bit of padding in the sole, and the heel height is just right to be girly but not stop you trekking around London all day. I chose these particularly because of the metallic heel – it’s SO on trend and I think it gives them a really special edge. Will be wearing these all summer long.

For my makeup I opted for a slightly more smokey eye and a pink lip. I’ve recently discovered using a small fluffy brush for applying my gel eye shadows and it makes the smokey look ridiculously easy! I’m wearing the Seventeen Miracle Matte foundation, and Bobbi Brown Pink Rose lipstick.
