International Blogger Swap

Over the past month I’ve been involved in an International Blogger Swap and today we are all posting the results!

Ten bloggers were paired up randomly by Martyna at Spoolish.com. We all had to make a care parcel of goodies to send to our fellow blogger.

I was paired with Martyna herself so scoured her blog to get a feel for her taste. She’s a fellow thrifter and dog lover like me so we definitely have heaps in common!

I sent Martyna:

A navy sweater with blue and white pattern. Perfect for layering, winter, and hopefully Canada! From a charity shop of course…..(Lewis Manning on Ashley Road if you’re interested).

A blue leather mini satchel. Loved the embossed print and little tassle. Think it’ll really suit her. From Waggy Tails charity shop, Ashley Road.

A gold bow brooch – I love wearing these on my collar like a little bow tie, or pinned to necklaces or hair bands – super cute in worn-looking gold. From Primark.

Last but not least…. a ‘Blogspiration’ advent calendar! If you’d like a tutorial on how to make this then check out last year’s Homemade Advent Calendar for my boyfriend. It’s super simple and really effective. I put motivational quotes, blogging ideas, and tips into this one for her. Hope it’s useful! Plus, you can’t send a gift fro the UK without some Cadbury’s.

What I got from Martyna:

I could not be more super in love with Martyna right now – she sent me such an adorable mix of girly, vintage, and even personalised! Loving it. Here’s the full breakdown…..

Amazing thistle vintage brooch – how I love a good brooch for a collar! This one really reminds me of the one on the Norwegian national dress I had as a kid…. how did she know?? My Granny will be so proud.

Lip balm to help with my £50 beauty challenge! I love strawberry flavoured stuff, and this one smells amazing.

P1030808

The most amazing personalised L necklace. Martyna is really into Scrabble so this is an awesome gift to remind me of her blog. Thank you!!

P1030804

This hilarious, and genius, vintage head towel. I’ve always wanted to try one of these. Shall report back!!

P1030796

A super super sugary sweet Disney Princess purse/mini handbag. As you guys now I currently like ALL my bags ‘mini’ so this is perfect. Then last but not least, a giant chocolate coin (makes the bag look even mini-er). Perfect finishing touch!!

The other bloggers:

Here are the other bloggers, they’re all posting today about their parcels so it’s well worth checking out…..

ButtonsAndBirdcages – an adorable vintage feel thrifting blog with lots of outfit posts and ‘refashions’.

BeingZhenya – a gorgeously romantic lifestyle and thrifting blog with beauty posts thrown in.

CharityShopChic – a fellow Brit who transforms unloved charity bargains into designer copies – so talented and inspiring!

Spoolish – a lifestyle blog with plenty of thrifting thrown in. She always inspires me and puts all her feelings out there. Really well written, and always super smiley (the adorable dog doesn’t hurt either).

Mrs.FoxFinery – wearable everyday vintage, and a massive smile to boot!

ThriftYourHeartOut – the inspiration for my Nothing New November, and an adorable vlogger while she’s at it.

AlligatorToe – reviews, quirky outfits and DIYs.

AlmostaHippy – a wizz with a sewing machine, definitely a good place for DIY and refashion inspirations.

Maybe you should consider organising a blogger swap? Or join ours next time?? Message me for details on how.
