Rimmel 10 Day Nailvarnish

Last week in Sweden managed to pick up this new Rimmel nail polish in ‘Cashmere’ for just 50p and thought you might like a review.
It claims to last up to 10 days and have lycra in it so I’m intrigued to see how it does when faced with my chip-tastic handbag battles.

I also learnt a handy tip today from my new favourite blog (http://www.ohsoprettythediaries.com/). When you are waiting for your nails to dry you can tell if they’re done by touching them lightly against each other… if they are grippy then they’re not ready – with this method they won’t smudge but you can know when to get back to normal life!

Happy painting

Update: So…. I’m currently on Day 2 and I am already considering buying this polish in every colour. It’s lovely and thick and feels almost like Shellac! Will let you know how it fares after a week though…

Update: On Day 3 I went swimming on it was the end of my Rimmel love affair – afterwards I had loads of chips… back to Barry M I go (blog post here)

Update: Since the last time I wrote to you I’ve tried starting over. This time I haven’t been swimming on so far I’m on Day 7 and my right hand is chip free (although the left is pretty gone!). Guess Rimmel weren’t so bad after all… think I was a bit harsh!
