The thing I love about todays look is the similarity and contrast between the two prints – the leopard spots and the scarf watercolour spots – think it makes for a really fun combo. I decided to pair everything else back with simple black and cream to make sure the scarf colours pop. I got this scarf on my first ever trip to India, but this is the first time I’ve ever worn it in the UK – so I’m thrilled that this challenge is helping me get through my extensive wardrobe hoard. I’m also obsessing over skater and lantern skirts at the moment – anything with lots of body and bounce that I can pair with black tights and heels. They just make me feel so girly and cheerful, but you can easily toughen them up with a leather jacket or studded belt.
Yesterday a friend sent me this AMAZING tutorial with loads of different ways to wear scarves. I was skeptical as I’ve seen a bunch of these before where they don’t show you anything new. BUT this one is fabulous – there’s loads of ways that I’ve never seen before and that look really cool….. The Fake Knot is the one I’m most excited to try next. So…. although this scarf is too thin to suit most of the tricks I did opt for a little shoulder throw halfway through taking the photos!
