Today is a rather more muted print clash than I normally do, but I think blonde works so well in pastel and nude colours. I’ve worn this skirt heaps in the past but have got out of the habit, so it was on the chopping block today. I’m definitely going to keep in though as I found it so easy to style this morning – must get it out more often! The shoes were also something that I’ve had for ages but hardly wear, they’re a bit chunky for my liking so I think I’m going to give them to my cofounder Hannah to enjoy instead. I decided to keep all the accessories a matching brown to avoid overpowering the prints, and wore a new necklace my parents brought back from Croatia. It’s actually a button from their national dress, but it looks like a pandora bead and has been made into a necklace – adorable!!
Tropical bird printed chiffon shirt (H&M Concious Collection) – £4.70 – eBay – also featured in my Tropical Birds in the Rain post
Brocade print skirt – £2.01 – eBay
Brown bow belt – £1 – Primark – also featured in my Valentines OOTD post
Brown suede shoes – £4.99 – eBay
Combining Pastels and Tropical was a great way to mix two current trends without needing to buy a whole new wardrobe or be too outrageous!

I also added some light blue eye shadow and bright blue eyeliner for a bit of fun today. I’m discovering so many bits of makeup I forgot I had now I’ve organised my stash better! Will post about it soon 🙂
I love that skirt!
Thanks! I just HAD to have it 😀
