You may have seen tartan ALL OVER every magazine and celebrity for the past month, and the trend doesn’t seem to be losing speed any time soon. Thankfully for all you thrift addicts out there the charity shops are full of it! I’ve previously posted about my green tartan trousers and Double Tartan outfit but this is a skirt that I’ve had for literally years and I’m excited that it’s back in fashion now. It was a size 12 but I simple sewed along the hems (no very technical) to make it my size – simples!
This sweater was knitted by my Grandma for me as I am totally in love with Boston and wanted some ‘merch’. It’s super soft wool and the colour combo is gorgeous. Loved the red writing matching the red skirt (and of course my poppy!)
Both these items are surviving the Wear or Donate challenge!

Blue knitted Boston sweater – gift – my Grandma!
Black ankle boots – £2.50 – Lewis Manning charity shop, Ashley Road, Poole
p.s. We’re supposedly having a huge ‘storm’ so I’ve deliberately chosen a tight skirt that won’t blow up in the wind – yes I’m so practical!
I chose my outfit today based on the weather too! I love the skirt, it’s perfect for the latest trend 🙂
Yeah not sure if I was ahead of this trend or late for the 90s one – but I love it either way!
