I do love an opportunity to show you ideas for getting current trends in charity shops, and making them more wearable than the runway or street style bloggers. Two of my favourite trends at the moment are the PJs trend (patterned silky trousers with matching tops) and neons.

I got this coat today in Waggy Tails – we were really lucky and arrived at the time they were restocking the sale rail so it got reduced to half price before my very eyes! Fabulous!! The trousers are something I wear quite a lot, but the black silk top was something I bought as it was only £1 but found a bit plain so haven’t worn. But I think when its mixed with all these prints and colours it’s a good base. Very happy with this outfit!
Finally, I applied some fake tan this morning (winter is officially here!) and I wanted to give it plenty of time to dry so this outfit also doubles as a ‘Tan friendly’ outfit with a loose fit and breathable fabrics. Didn’t want to get any smudge lines, and wearing white is a definite no-no when you’re freshly tanned.
