Event: Bournemouth Blogger Swap Shop

 

 

 

This week I went to two (!!) swap shops so am feeling super thrifty. The first with my company Find Me where we were raising money at Bournemouth Uni for local hospice Lewis Manning, and the second was the Bournemouth Blogger’s Spring meet-up. I’ll be posting plenty of outfit photos of the amazing bargains/freebies I got from both events, but for now here’s a sneak peek of what it looked like.

 

 

 

 

The Blogger swap was held in Orange Rooms (Bournemouth) which is a very cool ‘apres ski’ bar/restaurant filled with wood, tartan and a giant polar bear – pretty awesome! The food was very reasonably priced, and super delicious, so I’d certainly recommend it.

 

 

 

 

The way the swap worked: you brought items and they were given a value in stars which were stuck on to your name tag. The items were then also tagged with a number value and you simply traded your stars for goodies! Everyone had brought loads of lovely things and I came away with a whole new selection of fun things to add to my wardrobe. It was also really exciting to see other (super stylish) people getting excited about the things you’d donated – quite a compliment!
