Today I discovered two great new second hand bloggers – ThriftYourHeartOut and TheDressFiend…. and both of them have done Nothing New November. This is where you blog about what you wear every day in November and you can’t buy any new clothes or accessories for that month. I love this idea (although I think it will be quite a challenge for me to be that self controlled!)…. but of course November has basically finished now – and I can promised you I thoroughly failed!
If someone can think if a fun alliterated pun for December or February (I’m in India all of January so shopping will be my main activity!) then I’ll accept the challenge. Post your ideas in the comments box below.

Feeling Frugal February
I’m glad to have helped inspire you to take this challenge! Let me tell you, not shopping for an entire month has been difficult, to say the least, but it really helps you realize the potential of the items already in your closet. I was shopping so much at one point that I completely forgot about things that I had purchased. That said, I really can’t wait to go thrift shopping again! I’ve missed it, but I think I’ll be a little wiser with the things I purchase. Only 2 more days to go!
