Today I wanted to show you a couple of the thrifting finds I got that are a bit more random. I don’t really know what I’m going to do with these yet, and maybe they’ll go straight to Find Me to sell on to someone cooler. But, for now I thought I’d show them to you and you can share your words of wisdom with me in the comments box at the bottom!
The first one is this black fully beaded bra dress. I definitely don’t like the dress (it’s got a bubble hem and is kinda trashy) but I feel like I could do some kind of cool DIY with the top part! Unsure how to make it not just look like a slutty beaded bra, but a cool urban bralet instead. Might take some thinking…
Next, a gorgeous green full length sheer robe. It’s got a small neck tie and is otherwise open. I think it’s probably supposed to be nightwear, but it’s just so glamorous I thought I could surely do something amazing with it. I suspect I’ll probably wear it for a photoshoot as it has amazing movement in the breeze.
Finally, the one I am both most excited about and also most lost about! It’s an amazing blue lace dress with a high neck and really full dropped hem skirt. I think it could be awesome with a slip underneath, or maybe a bandeau and a skirt. It’s such a statement piece I know I’m going to have to really own it if I’m gonna pull it off without looking a bit mad!
All three of these items came from the Goodwill Outlet in Roxbury (Harrison Ave), Boston, so each one cost $1.75 aka £1.25.
