I’ve been dying to bring out these pastel dungarees but the weather has been so unreliable I didn’t want to get caught in a rainstorm in a strappy. So…. I decided to add my favourite baby pink angora sweater underneath as a compromise. It’s super snug and meant I could go for head to toe pastels! I got this jumper in a charity shop in America and was thrilled with the price. You often see it UK shops but it can be fairly pricey (although still way cheaper (and more ethical) than buying new), but in America the thrift shops seem to be full of it. You have to be very careful to check for moth holes but they can often be easily darned if you’re looking to bag a bargain!
Baby pink angora sweater – £3.99 – Goodwill charity shop, San Francisco, America
Pastel printed dungarees – £4 – Lewis-Manning Hospice charity shop, Winton, Bournemouth
Pale pink pumps – H&M
You look lovely in pastels, Louise. If you’re ever on the Right Coast of America, let me know. Perhaps we could rendezvous for a thrifting adventure!
Yes please! I’m coming to Boston and Atlanta this summer if that’s any use? American thrift shops are SO SO good!
