I was super excited when I spotted the print of this skirt, and even more so when I discovered it was vintage Jaeger and only £3.50! Life doesn’t get much better than when you unearth a mega find in a thrift shop. A reminder to the inexperienced though – this is a 12 (I normally wear 8) but fits snuggly round my waist. Ignore sizes when it comes to thrifting, especially vintage, as they’ve changed a lot over the years. Charity shops tend to blindly follow the size listed on the label so it’s often worth checking things tagged with bigger sizes than you normally wear.
As the print was so strong I wanted to pair it with a very simple white strappy top. The length means heels are pretty essential so I opted for my burgundy and gold sandals. I wore this to work and got loads of compliments on the print – such a great statement piece!
