When travelling it’s really easy to loose track of what is a bargain. When you’re hotel costs £3 a night and your dinner £1, £40 seems like a HUGE amount of money. I found this dress when I was in Vietnam in a shop called Princess Secret (I just knew fate was calling me there!). It was in the sale reduced to £40 and I ummed and ahhed about it for ages before I realised I could hardly bear to take it off, let alone leave the country without it. You can read more about my handy travelling tips here.
And now, I’m so glad I bought it!! I wore it to the Bath University Summer Ball last year, and also to my genius boyfriend’s graduation. Both times I was way overdressed and LOVING IT!
The dress is a peach colour made of lovely shimmery sating and covered in 3D flowers. It’s really thick and super tight at the waist, but I just can’t get over how awesomely it flares out. I can’t wait for another chance to wear this, and I hope when you find something you really love you’ll realise all the money you saved on your other bargain purchases can go towards something really special.
