I don’t know about you but I am trying to string out summer as long as possible! I hate it when winter comes and it doesn’t matter what fabulous dresses or tops you have because they’re all hidden behind a massive coat or sweater. So, let’s celebrate summer for just a little longer with some of Sinead’s top thrifty outfits this season. Hope you like them and it inspires you to head to your local charity shop for some bargains!
The ‘Grease Lightening’:
Vintage pastel tied crop top – £5 – Dorset Blind Association charity shop, Ashley Cross, Poole
The ‘Vintage Kardashian’
I love anything animal print, I think it gives a hint of sex appeal but in a casual luxe tee it’s still really wearable day to day and not at all trashy. Mixed with the vintage denim shorts this screams festival fun to me!
Sheer luxe leopard print tee – £3 – Primark sale,
Matching sunnies – £1.50 – Primark
90s slouch denim shorts – £2.99 – Scope charity shop, Ashley Road, Poole
The ‘Sugary Tea’
Tea dresses are always easy to find in charity shops or online, and are so ridiculously easy to wear. They’re perfect for picnics, sunny days, and afternoon parties.
Dress – £4.98 – eBay
Belt – £1.50 – Menswear section at the Sue Ryder Hospice grounds sale in Henley
The ‘Gig Goer’
Black luxe vintage St Micheal tee (given excellent shape by its shoulder pads!) – £1.99 – Bernardos charity shop, Ashley Road
90s slouch denim shorts – £2.99 – Scope charity shop, Ashley Road, Poole
The ‘Little Miss Tropics’
This gorgeous vintage dress was only £2 from eBay. And this print blends the ‘tropical’ and ‘pastel’ trends of this season perfectly! Genius.
The ‘Look at Me Playsuit’
As you know I can never get enough of playsuits and this one is no exception. Sinead looks awesome in the standout print, but so comfy too! Perfect for the birthday BBQ she wore it to.
Vintage Betty Barclay playsuit – £1.04 – eBay
