No prizes for guessing what Sinead and I did last time she was in town – went thrifting!! As always we both got some awesome finds from Ashley Road. Mine will be posted over the next few weeks in OOTD posts but hers top picks are all here in a big haul post for you. Hope you like them and it inspires you to head out to the thrift stores – I’m always happy to do tours!
First up, this one was actually £6.50 so I wouldn’t normally include it, but it was still an amazing find. It’s an off white (slightly pink) angora oversized sweater and boy did I want it for myself instead of Sinead getting it!! She totally rocked it better than me though, and you’ve got to know when something is destined for someone else. It had a bit of embroidery and pearl detailing (pictured), but for me it was the fluff that was to die for. Love! p.s. YES those are massive shoulder pads you see….
Next up was a gorgeous gold sweater (you definitely can’t go wrong with gold and silver metallics this winter). It’s shimmery, vertically striped, perfect for layering, and just an overall winner.

This Retro cut out shirt has an awesome abstract art painted print with an autumnal brights feel. I put it tied up over a navy H&M dress so make sure the shirt was the main feature. Super easy but very chic!
Vintage shirt – £1.99, Barnados charity shop, Ashley Road, Poole
Simple navy blue dress, £4, H&M sale
This navy silky blouse has a gathered bottom and adorable vintage looking buttons. Perfect for work with a black skirt or trousers.

Great haul! I think the blouse at the end was my favourite piece 🙂 Looking forward to seeing your finds!
I want that cardigan and jumper! Sooo cute!
